Braunton Parish By Election - 8th November

2 November 2018

Due to the unfortunate death of Cllr Linda Wellstead, a by-election has been called for Braunton Parish Council on Thursday 8th November.

North Devon Green Party has an excellent candidate Mary Clay standing. She is a mother of two children and is passionate about making Braunton safer and better for everyone. Mary wants to:

• See safe routes for cyclists and pedestrians in and around the village.

• Reduce traffic congestion and air pollution through the
village.

• Improve local amenities, particularly for young people –
Mary wants to continue to encourage smaller, independent businesses being set up and flourishing; as well as helping existing businesses and amenities like the Post Office to expand.

Led by your three amazing Green Councillors Brad Bunyard, Liz Wood and Gwen De Groot, we have decided not to campaign actively in Braunton for this election, out of respect for Linda, and also her family and friends.

Please note the vote is in a different polling station for this
election. You need to go to Braunton Youth Centre (The Yard) in order to cast your vote.
