Title: Can we have our cake and eat it?

Food production as a solution to environmental degradation. An exploration and discussion around agricultural transition

​Guest Speaker: One of this years finalists in the Farming Today Future Farming Award, Andy Gray is an agricultural experimentalist who is also a meat producer, game and venison processor, farmer who quarries, dog food manufacturer.

His Interests extend to sustainable farming research,  food poverty, environmental recovery, and riparian conservation.

Voluntary roles include, trustee of WRT, chairman of the Devon County Agricultural Association’s council, NED for Devon Farm Kitchen (Hospice), Chairman of the River Taw Fisheries and Conservation Association.


Chair: The evening will be chaired by Catherine Simmons, former Mayor of Torrington, Torridge District Councillor and Social Housing Officer.
