Summer Social and Fundraiser

When: Saturday 12 August, 3-5.30pm
Where: At Mark and Rosie Haworth-Booth’s house – Barn Cottage near Swimbridge.

Parking in our neighbours’ field will be signposted.
What: an opportunity to mingle, chat, celebrate our recent electoral success and Carla Denyer’s inspiring visit, eat and drink, wander round the wildlife meadow with its stream and pond, possibly go paddle-boarding, take shelter from the warm Devon rain in a gazebo or one of the two summerhouses…
Refreshments: if anyone would like to bring something tea-party-appropriate, such as a cake, sausage rolls (pref vegan variety), or biscuits, that would be lovely. We aim to make it all finger food rather than knife and fork dishes. We will provide non-alcoholic drinks, tea and coffee, but please bring a bottle if that is your preference.
Raffle: It’s a fund raiser, so we are asking people to contribute something and we’ll have buckets around for donations, that might be £1 or it might be £100, just give what you can. Of course it couldn’t possibly be a Devon fund raiser without a raffle – so if you can bring something that might just about pass muster as a prize, that would be very welcome!
